The Berkeley Academy seeks scholars who love to learn and have a desire to go to college.  A Berkeley Academy scholar will be self-motivated, demonstrate good behavior, have above average grades and want to make a positive difference in the world. The only cost for a scholar is consistent attendance, motivation, a positive attitude, hard work and a six-year commitment to the program.

QUALIFYING CRITERIA FOR PROSPECTIVE SCHOLARS:
  • Rising seventh-grader
  • Eligible for free or reduced lunch
  • Proficiency above grade level
  • Motivation to sustain a six-week, high-intensity, academic preparation program and monthly Saturday programming
  • Six-year commitment
  • Dedication to excellence and a desire to make a positive difference in the world

Morning Activities:
