The Berkeley Academy hiring process has multiple steps which are outlined below.Step 1: Berkeley Academy Teaching Application, Resume and Transcript
This step involves:
- Completing and submitting the application below.
- Sending an e-mail to almerama@berkeleyprep.org with the following items attached:
A. Your resume
B. Your college transcript (unofficial is acceptable)
Please note that step one is not complete until we receive your application, resume and transcript. All of these items must be submitted by January 6, 2023 in order to be considered for our winter deadline.
Step 2: A Sample Teaching Lesson and Guided Questions
Once the information from step one is submitted and reviewed, candidates who advance will be asked to create and record a 3-minute sample lesson and answer several guided questions for review through FLIX-CV, an online interview platform. Additional information regarding this step will be emailed to all candidates who advance past step one.
Step 3: Group Interview
Candidates will also be asked to attend one of our two virtual group interview nights. The dates and time of these evenings can be found in the application below. Please mark your calendars accordingly.
Step 4: Individual Interview
In this final round, advancing candidates will be invited to an individual, virtual interview.
