“The Berkeley Academy provided supportive training and practical feedback that taught me the skills I need to be a better teacher. The hands-on focus of the program allowed me to work independently in a real classroom setting. The environment of the Berkeley Academy is one of care, support, and constant learning. It helped me to truly grow as a person and as a teacher.”

“As someone planning to go into the medical field, teaching at the Berkeley Academy helped me become a better leader, public speaker, and overall more confident person. I am constantly amazed reflecting on how much I’ve grown in two short summers working at the Berkeley Academy.”

“The Berkeley Academy taught me how to collaborate effectively and efficiently as an educator. I was constantly challenged with new projects and had tangible experience with classroom management. I had the opportunity to lead my own classroom and conduct daily lessons, learning a lot along the way. I have so much to be thankful for. The Berkeley Academy equipped me with skills that will be useful in my future career.”
